CHALET :D
Saturday, June 23, 2012 @ 10:17 PM I was back from chalet yesterday. Yeah, it's only 2D1N. Got that chalet voucher from lucky draw, what to do? LOL. To be honest, we didn't really do much, but I really enjoyed the time spent with them. Met up with Jieni at Woodlands Regional Interchange to take bus to Pasir Ris. And I found out that taking the buses would reach Pasir Ris faster than MRT! But we were still late for the meeting time at 11am. Shihui and Yuanyuan were already there at 10am+. SHO EARLY FOR WHAT. LOL. Frank was going to be late, so we went down to Fairprice to get our snacks! I thought it would only be $30 odd, but it was $50 odd. LOL. Never mind, I remembered to get LinkPoints using my NEBO card! ^^ We reached Downtown East at around 12:30pm, and only to realise that E!Hub also has NTUC Fairprice. So much for carrying the heavy bags from Pasir Ris. The room wasn't cleaned when we reached there, so we waited at the foodcourt beside Wild Wild Wet. Cos Xinyi, Shiyen and Jingtian weren't there yet anyway. And I saw Joselyn at the foodcourt. Talk about fate. HAHAHA. My Mom came at around 1:30 to 2pm to register as she was the one who went down to book. However, we only managed to check in at 2:30pm, which was supposingly the timing la. Sigh.

I set the timer of my camera to taking 3 continuous shots with 10 seconds interval each.
We played a "I have not" game, which we have to say what we have not done before, and those who have done would lose a "life" which is represented by our fingers. So by default, we have 10 "lives". LOL. First round, Shihui and Jieni lost due to much sabotaging by Yuanyuan. And they did 7wonders as forfeit. Photos are in Yuanyuan's phone, which aren't uploaded yet. We started second round shortly after Jiayun has arrived. We had 4 losers this time round: Jiayun, Shihui, Jieni and I. Since Shihui and Jieni had done the forfeit the previous round, Jiayun and I were supposed to do it. Again, photos are in Yuanyuan's phone. We ordered pizza from Domino's since we bought the coupons much earlier in school when the Domino's people came to promote it. (LOL I was so guailan then.) Requested it to reach at 7pm. Chelene arrived soon after we ordered the pizza, but she could have arrived earlier. I would have to say that she was very unlucky that day to met with a MRT breakdown in the middle of Tampines and Pasir Ris. HAHAHA. We had this rule: We will taupok whoever that lies down on the bed. So yeah: 
Can't even see Jiayun's and Jingtian's faces. Shiyen and Xinyi weren't in as well. HAHAHA

Jieni complained that it was too boring to stay in the room, so some of us went to the Pasir Ris Park for a walk and to look at the beach. Camwhoring all the way. I shall spare you readers from the photos, HAHAHA. Ooh, I shall edit this part with a photo after Jieni has uploaded them. Frank called to tell us that pizza has arrived, so we made our way back to the chalet room. Jingtian left a short while after, she can't overnight. :( Xinyi left soon too. :( We went out after we have cleared the pizza to play pool, but Jieni had to notice the words on the wall that Partyworld has opened on Level 5 of E!Hub, so she, Shiyen, Yuanyuan and I went to Partyworld, while the rest went to play pool. $60 for 4 people to sing for 5 hours. Quite a good price, and I believe that I sang for at least 20 songs. Four of them who played pool came to join us after an hour. And, halfway through, Frank, Jiayun and Jieni went to watch Sadako. The other five of us continued to sing, all the way till 2am. :D Last one hour was "reserved" for English songs cos we have sang too many Chinese songs that Shihui and Chelene got bored. HAHA. I left Partyworld when their movie has ended at around 1am to take my bunny back from Jieni - I left my wallet and the chalet key inside. And the karaoke room can only have 4 people at the end of the session. :x Took turns to shower and had the cup noodles we bought from Fairprice. Played a some sort of reaction game, and wow, I wasn't the last to react most the time. LOL. I think I was too tired, I have very vague memory of what happened then. Ooh, and I fell asleep for a while. Luckily they didn't use the markers to draw on my face or my arms. LUCKILY. THANK YOU PEOPLE <3. Woke up at around 5am+ to get ready to go to Pasir Ris Park to watch the sunrise. Saw Joselyn again on the way to the park. HAHAHA.

After the sunrise at 7:01am, (yes we checked the timing) we went back to sleep. So much for the compulsory toning. HAHAHA. Set the alarm to wake us up at 9am to prepare to check out at 10am. We went to have Mac breakfast after we checked out. After that, Yuanyuan and I went to watch Prometheus using my free tickets that I got from the lucky draw too. Shiyen went home, and the rest went to somewhere in Dhoby Ghaut for pool, again. LOL. So that marks the end of the chalet. I got home and bathed, before going out to SCAPE for Luminance! Festival volunteer. Yesterday was the media preview and the event officially starts from 23 June, today, to 1 July. Go down with your family and friends to take a look at the different artworks! Learned quite a fair bit from the tour by the boss on how to elaborate for the different artworks. I will still be going down to volunteer during that period, I think it will definitely be a good experience since it is the first of such event taking place in Singapore. TODAY; SATURDAY. Got up early (what am I saying, I overslept) for house visit or more of a distributing flyers into mailboxes, but I wasn't very late. Due to a shortage of manpower, we only distribute the flyers to a few zones, which makes this event very fast. Had the bento lunch at Galaxy CC before making my way down with Mechelle to HCI for Judo training. Guess what, I got two abrasions, one blister, and felt giddy out of no apparent reason. Sigh. I didn't get to spar then. Luofu said it might be low blood sugar. So at the end of the training, she gave me a sweet and I went to buy a sweet drink. Felt much better, and I guess that proved her assumption correct. Decided to give night cycling a miss, since I can't be sure I will not feel giddy again later. What a waste. Oh well, I shall use this time to do whatever I'm supposed to: clear my tutorials and projects, do up the heartland explorer 9 proposal and ya workplan, and definitely, to rest well. What an irony. HAHAHA. I've done the proposal before writing this post. BYE! |
