WHAT ARE FRIENDS FOR?

It's really nice to know that I have friends who love me for who I am.

Love might be an overstatement as it has been used for so many times that it no longer holds a meaning to it. But when they said it, I mean how they deliver it through text, I can feel the real emotions behind them. That's a friend.

It makes me sound like I am someone with very few friends. HAHA. Actually, yes. Yes. I have very few friends. I disregard acquaintance as a friend, which I believe many don't. C'mon, I've only known you for a day or two, or maybe chatted with for a few times, and you're my friend? No way.

A friend, does not only refer to a person who you can talk to easily, who you can share everything with, but also a person who can accept what you've said, you've shared. Er not as in they must agree with you, but they do not mind them - they do not mind your drama and they keep your dirty little secrets.

Someone who grows with you, from you knowing nothing to you having scars all over; someone who have seen your true colours, knowing what kind of person you are better than yourself do. But most importantly, is still there for you regardless of what happened.

And in my opinion, it's either a person is your friend or the person is not your friend. There's no in-between.

Kind of touched by what some of my friends had done for me all these years, so I've decided to write about this. Friends for life!
